Cara Delevingne graced July’s Vogue, Kendall Jenner joined her Givenchy family for Vogue Japan‘s August issue and now the Hadid sisters are causing “Double Trouble” on the V Magazine‘s latest cover! See Gigi and Bella Hadid sizzle in bondage-inspired lingerie — and matching banged haircuts — below!

The sisters teased their photoshoot with Steven Klein on Instagram last week, sprawled out on a colorful fur (on the street) in matching thigh-high boots and well, not much else. But the magazine unveiled the full cover today, with the duo posing in provocative bodysuits, see-through stockings and cropped fur jackets with the coverline — “No, you’re not seeing double! Just trouble!”

Bella and Gigi were interviewed by legendary model China Machado for the cover story. They talked about the complexities of working in the industry, the mean girl model stereotype and, of course, their sisterly bond.

For a model who works as consistently as Gigi (one look at her Instagram and she’s never in the same spot for more than a few days), she explains that she follows a three-step motto. “What I’ve been doing a lot every day is I have three goals: be kind, work hard and make a friend,” says Gigi. “When I do those little things on set every day, those are the things that then lead to creating relationships and building opportunities. Because you don’t know who those people are gonna go have dinner with and talk to that night.”

Bella adds, “No matter if they’re working next to you, below you, or above you, be kind and generous to everyone you meet. Yeah, it’s bizarre because it’s weird for people to be nice these days.”

While the modeling industry has its mean girl connotation, they explain that the tide is actually changing in their favor. “There are some people who are mean at times, but I think generally we are in a generation of models where it’s becoming normal to support each other, and I think it’s really different. We’re lucky to be in that generation of girls where we’re really pushing for girl power and supporting each other and being friends with everyone. And I think it’s becoming less cool to be like the catty models that we’ve all heard the stories about.”

And she credits (honorary catwalker) Taylor Swift to that. “There are a lot of different girls in the industry, including Taylor Swift — I just did her music video. She put something like twenty successful women in the industry in her video. I felt so lucky to do that because I felt like it was really a sign of our collective willingness to support each other and have each other’s backs and kind of hold hands along the way.” (Considering that she just single-handily influenced Apple to pay musicians compensation for their streaming service, Apple Music, it’s no wonder she has a heavy hand in changing the modeling world, too.)

As for any catty sister fights, they stress they’d never argue over the same guy. “No, never. We would never touch the same person,” says Bella. And Gigi agrees, “We don’t have the same type.”
The Hadid sister’s copy of V Magazine (Issue 96) hits newsstands on July 2.
