Former Houston police officer Marcus Carrion was sentenced Friday to five years in a federal penitentiary in a plea agreement stemming from his providing security for drug dealers. Carrion, 37, who had served five years as an officer before his February 2014 resignation from the force, also must comply with five years supervised release when his prison term is completed.
