Chuck Norris shares KickStart Kids' success with benefactors

Colleen Phalen with John Daugherty, Realtors attended the KickStart Kids recent Donor Appreciation Reception hosted by Alice and Keith Mosing at River Oaks Country Club. Norris told the group that students in middle and high school who participate in the program achieve a higher level of success and become more productive members of the community. Norris and his wife, Gena, announced a new partnership with Phillips 66 and a testimonial from one of the current KickStart Kids instructors who was a student in the program. Phalen said there is also a tennis tournament, luncheon and awards reception on May 2 at the Galleria Tennis and Athletic Club benefiting Kickstart Kids. Mary Piper, Bernstein Realty's director of relocation, and Lis Harper, associate, recently attended the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA), luncheon about the economic pathways to business opportunities.
