Editor’s Notes: Following the launch of its 1940s West Coast surf culture-inspired Spring capsule, Levi’s Vintage Clothing now draws influence from the iconic 1978 Jamaican film, Rockers for its FW18 collection.
Utilizing the vibrant dancehall and reggae styles by Jamaican artists of that era as the basis of the collection’s overall theme, the range encompasses updated classics like trucker jackets reimagined with rainbow paneled denim and patchwork detaiing, colorful trousers in red and bright yellow tones, along with ‘60s-era tees, knit button-up shirts, and faded jeans boasting worn-in aesthetic. Furthermore, corduroy detailing is particularly prominent throughout the line, specifically on jackets and shirts to solidify the lineup of apparel.
