As the worlds of football and fashion continue to collide, the stakes have never been higher for club jerseys. Highlighted by unprecedented hype for Nigeria’s World Cup Get-Up earlier this summer, as well as in Thom Brown’s ongoing partnership with Catalan squad Barcelona, clubs are no longer just battling for their place at the top of the table.
But for the 2018/2019 season, any club who isn’t Juventus may as well hang up their kits and go home. The Italian club’s away jersey, designed by adidas Football’s Francesca Vetturini is a super wearable piece both in the stands and on the streets.
Coming in a sand colorway, this is not the first Juve kit to have gained style kudos, and adidas has nodded to its past jerseys with a signature button collar. The subtle accented cuffs in the club’s Bianconeri stripes are a nice addition to its detailing, made cooler still by the fact that the one-and-only Christiano Ronaldo will be rocking the look every second game in the 18/19 Serie A league.
