Joaquin Niemann will get the chance to win the PGA Championship as a 19-year-old.
The young Chilean received a special invitation to play in the season's last major at Bellerive Country Club in August, according to Rex Hoggard of the Golf Channel.
The former No. 1-ranked amateur in the world earned special temporary status on the PGA Tour thanks to four top-10 finishes this season, making this invitation just the latest chapter in an already brilliant start to his career.
Niemann sits in a tie for sixth at the Canadian Open on Friday as he searches for his first career win on Tour.
