Brand: Skim Milk & WHOLE

Season: SS18

Key Pieces: Trump tweet tee, “Culture is Dead” tee, “Anartist” tee, black/white striped tee

Editor’s Notes: After teaming up with NAKID magazine for a NSFW collaboration last year, L.A.’s Skim Milk is back with their SS18 collection dubbed “Culture is Dead.”

Utilizing edgy, sarcastic graphics and a punk-inspired theme to define its overall aesthetic, Creative Director Josh Scholl states that, “We’ve encapsulated the punk vibe for 9 years and real knows real.” So he enlisted his friend and punk rock legend Don Bolles, drummer of notorious LA punk band The Germs (and currently plays with Ariel Pink) to be the lookbook model.

In addition, the Skim Milk x NAKID magazine collab has been re-stocked, which includes two T-shirts and a tote. Furthermore, the brand’s higher end patterns branch, WHOLE, also delivered its SS18 “Show Your Stripes” collection, featuring a striped cap and mismatched striped shirts.

With prices ranging from $35 USD to $70 USD, you can purchase your favorite piece from either collections at Skim Milk’s online store and select retailers now.

Next up, Patta and ALCH’s collaborative gilet is spring’s must-cop accessory.
