Troubled former Raiders and 49ers player Aldon Smith was arrested in San Francisco early Friday morning, the San Francisco Chronicle has reported.
According to the Chronicle, Smith violated a court order to stay away from his fiancee — the victim of an alleged domestic dispute in which he was involved earlier this month. Smith was charged with domestic violence, assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, false imprisonment and vandalism, all misdemeanors.
Smith turned himself in this morning after SFPD issued a warrant for his arrest.
The Raiders released Smith on March 6 after he was arrested.
