Chris Sale arguably has the filthiest stuff among all Boston Red Sox pitchers, but who knew the star left-hander was such a great ping-pong player?
Sale’s above-average ping-pong skills were just one of the revelations made as the Red Sox handed out team superlatives ahead of the 2018 season. Aside from table tennis prowess, the Sox also hilariously debated who on the team is the most likely to trip over second base and who is the best dancer, among other categories.

It’s pretty hilarious that Mitch Moreland cited Xander Bogaert’s jean shorts as the shortstop’s qualification for best style, and it sure sounds like Eduardo Rodriguez has a reputation around the clubhouse for being notoriously stingy.
While several of these awards are flattering, we have a feeling every player on the roster would rather take home more illustrious hardware like a Gold Glove or Silver Slugger.
