Harry Hudson Teases Debut Album With Short Film Starring Jaden Smith
Singer-songwriter Harry Hudson is gearing up to release his debut album, Yesterday’s Tomorrow Night. To heighten anticipation surrounding the delivery, this week Hudson unleashes an all-new short film starring his pal Jaden Smith.
Titled Can Cowboys Cry, the 16-minute picture takes fans on an “emotional journey through love, loss and self-discovery in a modern, western landscape.” While the narrative is told in four parts, Hudson has then chosen to utilize the aesthetic to share his brand new single, “No Good,” in addition to previous releases in “Cry for Love,” “Yellow Lights,” and “Gone.”
“The themes in this film are very nostalgic for me because I grew up watching western films with my Pops and listening to Johnny Cash,” says Harry. “My whole album was inspired by the music my Dad introduced me to so it was only right that I paid homage by creating my own western. My album is a journey of self-discovery – taking you from a dark point in my life to a light point in my life. Can Cowboys Cry represents the exact same feeling but told in a different story.”
