Editor’s Notes: In 2017, FILA’s own chunky shoe, the Disrupter, was the low-budget, cost-efficient answer to sneakers such as the Balenciaga Triple S and Raf Simons Ozweego Bunny II, thrusting the brand back into footwear relevancy.
This year, FILA is bringing back the Venom, a silhouette from its archive, that will drop in three colorways, the first of which is the red/white/black iteration you can see above.
Still chunky but slightly less so than the Disrupter, the Venom is a streamlined silhouette that could end up seeing a lot of success in 2018.
In other sneaker news, the final adidas x ‘Dragon Ball Z’ silhouettes have surfaced online.
