Quiet star Quinton Flowers closes career with 2 epic performances
After a brilliant showing in a losing effort in the American Conference title game against UCF, Flowers played the hero in South Florida's dramatic Birmingham Bowl win over Texas Tech on Saturday.
As is usually the case with Flowers, he saved his best for the fourth quarter, leading the Bulls on three scoring drives, including the game-winning touchdown pass with 16 seconds to play.
Flowers compiled over 1,000 combined yards of total offense across the final two games of his career, while playing a part in 10 total touchdowns.

His performance on Saturday against Texas Tech also saw him reach a number of different milestones in his illustrious career.

- Fourth quarterback in FBS history to throw for over 8,000 yards and run for over 3,500.
