He'll lead Florida Atlantic - winners of nine straight contests - into the Boca Raton Bowl versus Akron on Tuesday night.
Still only 42 years old, Kiffin was rumored to be on the radar of several Power 5 teams this offseason, though he never appeared close to leaving Boca Raton.
Prior to inheriting the Florida Atlantic job, Kiffin spent four years as Nick Saban's offensive coordinator at Alabama. He had roller-coaster head-coaching tenures at USC, Tennessee, and the Oakland Raiders before that.
