Pittsburgh wide receiver and kick returner Quadree Henderson made the decision to forego his senior season Monday, announcing via Twitter that he has officially declared for the 2018 NFL Draft.

"My lifelong goal has always been to play in the National Football League. After speaking with my parents, I have reached the decision to forego my final year at the University of Pittsburgh to pursue my dream and enter the 2018 NFL Draft," Henderson said.

Henderson's production took a step back in 2017 after being named a Consensus First-Team All-American in 2016 along with earning a reputation as one of the nation's most effective return men.

Henderson finished his junior season with 286 receiving yards and one touchdown on 26 catches, along with a combined 767 return yards and a pair of punt return scores.
