Tiger Woods hasn't played competitive golf in nearly 300 days, and hasn't won a major since 2008, but Las Vegas oddsmakers aren't particularly pessimistic about his chances of winning a 15th major title in 2018.
Woods is listed at 20-1 to win a major championship next season, while Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson are co-favorites at 3-2 to win one of the four biggest events in golf.
Rory McIlroy, who spent most of his 2017 campaign battling a rib injury, is next at 5-2.
Here a look other notable players' chances of winning in 2018:
The season's first major gets underway at Augusta National in April with The Masters, while Shinnecock Hills holds the U.S. Open in June. The Open returns to Carnoustie in July, and Bellerive Country Club hosts the PGA in August.
