Tiger Woods hasn't played competitive golf in nearly 300 days, and hasn't won a major since 2008, but Las Vegas oddsmakers aren't particularly pessimistic about his chances of winning a 15th major title in 2018.

Woods is listed at 20-1 to win a major championship next season, while Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson are co-favorites at 3-2 to win one of the four biggest events in golf.

Rory McIlroy, who spent most of his 2017 campaign battling a rib injury, is next at 5-2.

Here a look other notable players' chances of winning in 2018:

Player Odds
Dustin Johnson 3-2
Jordan Spieth 3-2
Rory McIlroy 5-2
Justin Thomas 7-2
Jon Rahm 7-2
Hideki Matsuyama 7-2
Rickie Fowler 7-2
Jason Day 7-2
Justin Rose 9-2
