Kansas State and Missouri have scheduled a future home-and-home series, the Wildcats announced Thursday.

Missouri will travel to Kansas State in September 2022 and then host in the return contest the following year.

"We are pleased to announce a home-and-home with a very quality opponent in Missouri," Wildcats athletic director Gene Taylor said. "The combination of needing a Power Five opponent on the schedule each year and being able to work with a regional institution that we have such a strong football history with, made perfect sense for K-State. I know our fans will be excited to play the Tigers again, and we look forward to two outstanding games in 2022 and 2023."

The schools were rivals during their time in the Big 12, but haven't met since 2011 when the Tigers left for the SEC. Missouri owns the advantage in the all-time series with a recor of 60-32-5.
