Stanford running back Bryce Love will play this week against Washington State after missing last week's contest with an ankle injury, the team announced Friday.

The Cardinal offense struggled against Oregon State, escaping with just a 15-14 victory. Despite missing the game with the ailment, Love still leads the nation in rushing with nearly 1,400 yards on the ground and is considered one of the top contenders for the Heisman.

There will be a different quarterback handing the ball off to Love this week, as head coach David Shaw announced Thursday that K.J. Costello would get the call behind center in place of Keller Chryst.
