College football may have a new upset-of-the-year candidate, as Troy shocked the world by defeating No. 25 LSU by a score of 24-21.

The loss marks the first time LSU has been defeated by a non-conference opponent at home since Sept. 23, 2000 against UAB, ending a 49-game streak. If that fact wasn't bad enough, the loss also snaps the Tigers' 16-game unbeaten streak against Sun Bel

The victory for Troy is also the program's first win over an SEC team since Oct. 13, 2001 when the Trojans took down Mississippi State by a score of 21-9.

More to come.
