Kelly Bryant knows it won't be easy taking over for a legend.

Clemson's new starting quarterback has the tough task of filling Deshaun Watson's shoes after watching his predecessor lead the Tigers to a pair of national title games and one championship.

"It's about every question, and I answer it to the best of my ability," Bryant told David Hale of ESPN. "But I don't try to be Deshaun Watson."

Bryant certainly isn't Watson, but he's had the luxury of learning the offense behind him for the past three seasons. The junior, like Watson, is a dual-threat pivot, which could make the transition to the starting role in Clemson's offense a little easier.

It will be hard for Bryant to measure up, though, no matter how well he plays.

"I'm not trying to imitate anybody," he added. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I'm trying to enjoy it to the fullest without putting too much pressure on myself."
