Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long denounced the actions of numerous white nationalist groups that converged in Charlottesville, Va., on Saturday, marching toward the University of Virginia campus.
A vehicle drove into a group of counter-protesters, injuring numerous people and killing a 32-year-old woman, Brian M. Rosenthal of The New York Times reported.
Long, who attended high school in Charlottesville and starred at Virginia during his collegiate career, also blasted President Donald Trump for his apparent noncommittal comments at his press conference.
