Saquon Barkley isn't tipping his hand on whether or not he'll declare for the 2018 NFL Draft. The Penn State running back insisted he's only focused on the 2017 campaign with the Nittany Lions at the moment.
"I'm really just focused on my season and, day-by-day, focusing on camp," Barkley told Greg Pickel of Penn Live.
The junior broke out last season, rushing for nearly 1,500 yards and 18 touchdowns, while helping Penn State to a Rose Bowl appearance. Although Barkley could always return for his senior campaign next year, he'll certainly be passing up a high selection if he decides to stay in college.
With Ezekiel Elliott, Leonard Fournette, and Christian McCaffrey all coming off the board in the top 10 over the past two years, Barkley will likely hear his name called at a similar time if he follows up 2016 with another solid campaign.
