Last Sunday, it was the driving range at Royal Birkdale. This week, it's the parking lot at Glen Abbey Golf Club.
Dustin Johnson cruised to a front-nine 31 at the Canadian Open on Thursday, but disaster ensued for the world No. 1 at the par-4 10th hole.
Johnson lashed his drive at No. 10 so far left of the fairway that his ball finished in the nearby parking lot. The 33-year-old wandered over to his ball, surveyed the situation, then asked the rules official, "Can I have that car moved? We got enough people."
With dangerous weather moving into the area, Johnson was forced to mark his ball and head back into the clubhouse to wait out the delay.
