A win by Davis Love III on Sunday at The Greenbrier Classic would make the the 1997 PGA champion the oldest PGA Tour winner in history - beating Sam Snead's mark by five months.

The 53-year-old is the oldest player in the field, and certainly doesn't have the distance he once has, but he's got a wealth of experience in the winner's circle compared to those also in contention.

Love has claimed 21 career PGA Tour titles, three more than the remainder of the top-15 combined:

Player Score PGA Tour wins
Sebastian Munoz -14 0
Robert Streb -12 1
Jamie Lovemark -11 0
Xander Schauffele -11 0
Kelly Kraft -10 0
Russell Henley -10 3
Davis Love III -10 21
Tony Finau -8 1
Nick Taylor -8 1
Danny Lee -8 1
J.B. Holmes -7 4
Hudson Swafford -7 1
Chad Campbell -6 4
James Hahn -6 2
David Hearn -6 0

The only major championship winner close to the soon-to-be Hall of Famer is Webb Simpson who is in a tie for 20th at 4-under par.
