Justin Thomas made history Thursday with a 59, becoming the seventh player in PGA Tour history to achieve the feat. One day later, he set a new 36-hole Tour scoring record, carding a 6-under-par 64 at Waialae Country Club in the second round of the Sony Open.

The 23-year-old arrived at the par-5 9th at 1-under, but proceeded to birdie the next four holes, making several accurate wedge shots, like this one at No. 12:
