Last night, A$AP Rocky performed at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, marking his return to Sweden following the aggravated assault trial this summer. For his big comeback, the rapper used a giant cage as a prop and announced that he would be letting “anyone from the immigrant community” in for free.
EVEN WHEN IM DENIED ACCESS TO DONATE OR PERFORM FOR THE INMATES IN SWEDEN I STILL WANT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE IMMIGRANTS AND POOR PPL OF OUTSIDE SURROUNDING AREAS , THIS HAS BEEN A DIFFICULT JOURNEY , BUT I FEEL ITS MY TASK TO GIVE BACK TO PPL WHO SUPPORTED ME WHEN I WAS DOWN

As seen on his Instagram Stories , ahead of the show Rocky visited underprivileged neighborhoods in Stockholm and gave free entry to those who couldn’t afford tickets. While on stage later that day, he gave fans a short speech that explained the meaning behind his actions. “I brought you here today for love and unity.”
Rocky continued, “Today, there’s people who were fortunate enough to buy tickets, and I thank you for coming. Today there was people who couldn’t afford it, and they still made it here, and I love you people. The whole message today — Spread love and have fuckin’ fun.”
Part of the show’s proceeds went to FARR, a network of non-profit organizations supporting refugees and asylum-seekers in Sweden. A$AP Rocky also planned to perform in the same prison he was held in Stockholm, but prison authorities shut it down, citing security and logistical issues.
