Y-3 is gearing up for the first drop from its SS20 collection, centered on the theme of Craft. Dramatic proportions, embroidered graphics, and premium materials emphasize the first drop’s focus on craftsmanship. Bosozoku, the Japanese motorcycle subculture, informs the graphics, including a “Roaring Black Crow” that references both Yohji Yamamoto‘s early nickname and the clamor of bikes.
For footwear, Y-3 is introducing a brand new silhouette in the RHISU RUN. The lightweight sneaker features BOOST, along with a breathable dual-layer mesh upper and suede and reflective detailing. Elsewhere, the KAIWA gets a sleek design update.
Look for the first drop on December 5 on Y-3’s website, flagship stores, and other select retailers worldwide.
