As summer gets set to disappear, another seven days packed with coveted releases have passed. With the week behind us, Highsnobiety’s resident curator Yulia Pankova is here to help us find the best across sneakers, fashion, and lifestyle to indulge in some much-deserved retail therapy. On the sneaker front, collabs reign supreme this week. From Salomon and Palace’s take on the Speedcross 4 to our very own collaboration with New Balance, it’s all about the joint-effort kicks. The Carhartt WIP x Clarks Originals Wallabee collab is an ideal choice for something more formal.
Sneakers aside, it’s also been a great seven days in the garment game. The Endless Joy printed shirt is a statement piece reminiscent of past season Prada, while the wool rollneck is a perfect piece for the season transition. Anyway, we’ll let Yulia take it from here.
“Wow. This week Salomon and Palace drop collaborative new colorways of the Speedcross 4. This is the kind of product that you either love or hate, there is no in-between.”
“Nike SB and Supreme came through with three pairs of the Dunk Low this week, in matte metallic colors and featuring a jewel Swoosh. With the recent wave of skate-led releases, the ’90s and ’00s influence is strong. Your rotation might be surprisingly similar to that of your middle school days right now.”
“This recent drop is the result of our first collaboration with New Balance. These New Balance 577 are part of the made-in-England range. The design, by Solebox founder Hikmet Sugoer, is actually inspired by prime numbers and mathematics. It’s now sold out, but you can still cop via resellers.”
“Nothing gets me more excited for fall than Carhartt WIP collabs. The Wallabee Boots by Clarks Originals get a makeover with a subtle seasonal palette. They are available via different retailers now, so don’t sleep on them!”
“The S/LAB XT-4 ADV is a perfect addition to your seasonal rotation. The beautiful ombre colorway could well be the inspiration for the rest of your fall fit.”
“Print shirts will never be out and if you are looking for something new and fresh in this department, check out Endless Joy. Sustainably made, this camp-collar shirt features a stunning intricate print. Founder of the brand Stevie Anderson has a penchant for philosophy and mythology reference, and you’ll want to see the rest of the collection at MR PORTER.”
“This colorful rugby shirt by Rowing Blazers x Lands’ End seems like such a natural collaboration. Simple, bold colors and a sports influence stay true to both brands’ DNAs.”
“When it comes to the back-to-school season, I always have an urge to update my office desk. If a stationary restock is way too dull for you, I suggest you treat yourself to this mug by Human Made.”
“Will fall kicking off, knitwear is back on the brain. This roll-neck sweater by Undercover is a perfect substitute for guys who rocked blouses this summer. I’m getting some serious medieval vibes from the collar, and how cute is that rose embroidery??”
“I love the idea of this collab, but not sure about the outcome. Are you feeling this floral all-over-print?”
“This Bearbrick by Medicom Toy x Karimoku is just on another level. Handcrafted from purple tree wood from South America, it comes with a slick matching wooden box.”
“This chunky curb chain bracelet with a twist by A-COLD-WALL* dropped this week and we are obsessed.”
“However Bottega Veneta continues to come up with its latest drops, they are definitely doing it right. Making new use of the iconic intrecciato weave technique on the AirPods, which happen to be the ultimate flex this season, we’re sure to spot many of these at NYFW?”
“Isn’t the MoMA Design Store already your go-to place when looking for the best in interior design accessories? If so, you won’t be surprised by this exclusive Murakami Flower Plush. Such a treat!”
“Also unsurprising is that the new Celine collection comes with a handful of chic accessories, including this one.”
