noma, the Copenhagen, Denmark-based restaurant currently ranked number two in the world by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, has seen its employees’ uniforms given a stylish revamp by Norse Projects and Dr. Martens.
Fellow Copenhagen-based label Norse Projects designed pared-down, almost nondescript sets of clothing for the women’s front of house team, while Dr. Martens took care of the footwear.
The shoes feature a leather upper that sit atop Dr. Martens’ customary Airwair sole. They come in two styles, one with a buckle fastening system across the forefoot, and the other with laces. Both are low-top and feature an exaggerated pull tab at the heel. Dr. Martens keeps things simple with a triple black, timeless design.
Both the footwear and the clothing is produced in limited quantities exclusively for noma. Check it out above and head here for more information.
On this week’s episode of The Dropcast, we are joined by certified organic style god Danny Bowien, founder of Mission Chinese. The celeb chef breaks down the similarities between running a restaurant and running a clothing brand, and even offers some solid business advice any entrepreneur can learn from.
