Editor’s Notes: Naked & Famous Denim don’t rely on celebrity endorsements to sell its products. Instead, the brand focuses its attention on sourcing the world’s best fabric and turning it into exceptional jeans according to its “No advertising, no washes, no pre-distressing, no-nonsense” mantra.
This approach has served the expert Canadian label well in the selvage denim trade. Its latest MIJ5 Kogare Kakishibu offering is a shining example of this.
For the first time ever, Naked & Famous’ MIJ series is being offered in multiple fits; the Weird Guy, Super Guy, and Easy Guy are all represented. Each fit features design details such as iron buttons, copper rivets, hidden back pocket rivets, raised belt loops, chain stitched hems and natural, vegetable tanned leather patches.
