Brand: Arte Antwerp
Key Pieces: Some of the standouts from the casual and clean collection are the range of denim jackets (indigo and beige), the stripe crewneck tee, all-white trousers and two-tone crewneck sweater on slide 13.
Editor’s Notes: Following its FW18 collection, Belgian brand Arte Antwerp is back to unveil its SS19 collection, inspired by its hometown harbor and another located in Dakar of Senegal in West Africa.
Encompassing jackets, sweaters, tees, trousers, shirts and more, the silhouettes were modeled by a group of Senegalese boys and captured in the city of Dakar by Belgian photographer Jef Claes. The city’s monochromatic concrete buildings and overall living conditions provides a scenic backdrop that perfectly complements the vibrant colors like light blue, salmon and bright pink utilized across the range of apparel.
