Panton’s work largely coincides with POP and psychedelia of the 1960s and early 1970s, as Dries Van Noten’s SS19 onslaught centers around the artist’s interior designs, ultimately translating such styling to ready-to-wear garments. The collection accounts for the first time that a brand has been permitted to use Panton’s designs on clothing.
Dries Van Noten’s SS19 pop-up is being held at the Little House space through April 30. The installation showcases large-scale photographs of Verner Panton’s iconic interior spaces, while offering exclusive footwear and baggage.
The gallery above provides you with a look at the Dries Van Noten x Opening Ceremony pop-up, again, open through April 30.
