Black Lives Matter Global Network is celebrating Black Futures Month with the launch of an ambitious, multi-city events series called Black Lives Matter Arts+Culture X Black Futures Month. The project launches today, February 17, in LA, Atlanta and Toronto.
BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors and Damon Turner (founder of the world’s first Cultural Architecture firm, Trap Heals, LLc.) are co-curating a series of pop-ups to showcase the works of several emerging artists that embody Black art and culture. The project encompasses fashion initiatives, e-commerce destinations, pop-up stores and capsule collections featuring emerging and iconic African-American designers, recording artists and contemporary visual artists.
