Natalie Portman Apologizes To Jessica Simpson Over Bikini Photo Controversy!
Natalie Portman is “sorry.”
As we reported, after the actress said she was “confused” by a 1999 photo of then-virgin Jessica Simpson wearing a bikini, the singer clapped back saying women shouldn’t “shame other women.”
On Wednesday, the Vox Lux actress issued an apology to the shoe designer saying, “a woman should be allowed to dress however she likes,” and that she “didn’t mean to shame [Jessica].”
Regarding her bikini comment, the Black Swan thespian clarifies that she was simply “confused” by “the media’s mixed messages about how girls and women [are] supposed to behave.”
