Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested on federal crime charges in the evening of Sunday, November 18, TMZ reports. The rapper, his former manager Shottie, real name Kifano Jordan, and two other associates are currently in federal custody on racketeering and firearms charges. 6ix9ine announced just a few days ago via Instagram that he fired Shottie as well as other members of his management team.
One of the arrested suspects is Crippy a.k.a. Faheem Walter, who was shot a few weeks ago during an altercation with the head of Tekashia 6ix9ine’s record label.
The rapper was recently sentenced to four years probation for his 2015 arrest for the use of a child in a sexual performance. Earlier this month, shots were fired at the set of a music video he was filming with Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. No word yet whether or not his Dummy Boy album featuring the aforementioned rappers will be delayed as a result of his arrest.
