The third time might be the charm for the Calgary Stampeders.

Bo Levi Mitchell threw three touchdown passes to Eric Rogers, and the Stampeders defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 22-14 in the West Final to advance to the 106th Grey Cup, where they'll face off against the Ottawa RedBlacks.

It will be Calgary's third consecutive Grey Cup appearance after losing to the RedBlacks and Toronto Argonauts in 2016 and 2017, respectively.

Mitchell completed 17 of his 31 pass attempts for 214 yards, while Rogers caught six passes for 61 yards.

Winnipeg jumped out to a 6-0 first-quarter lead on a pair of field goals from Justin Medlock before Calgary stormed back with the first of three Mitchell-to-Rogers touchdowns. Mitchell found Rogers again for an eight-yard score, giving the Stampeders a 14-6 halftime lead.

Blue Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols struggled throughout the contest, going 15-of-32 for 156 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions.
