The Ravens fired offensive coordinator Marc Trestman

Marty Mornhinweg will replace him.

After a lifeless 16-10 loss to Washington, the Baltimore Ravens fired offensive coordinator Marc Trestman. They’ll replace him with Marty Mornhinweg, according to Adam Schefter.

The Ravens offense is averaging just 18.8 points per game through five weeks of the season. They’ve lost their last two games, after a 3-0 start to season.

Trestman called a strange game plan against Washington. After a 75-yard touchdown drive in the first quarter, one that featured a heavy dose of Terrance West. He had 60 yards on five carries in the first quarter, and then, for some reason, Trestman turned decided against using his running back much at all. He had just 35 more rushing yards, despite racking up 95 total on just 11 carries.
