Reserve Bank says it is unfazed by house prices rising in June quarter


Prices go up in all Australian capitals except Perth and Darwin but other indicators point to weaker conditions, RBA says

The Reserve Bank says it is not fazed by rising housing prices or by high auction clearance rates.

Sydney property prices rose in the June quarter of 2016 after six months of falls, according to figures released on Tuesday by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
