Dallas - Republican voters held the future of the top three presidential candidates in their hands Tuesday, but appeared far from finding a consensus on who should get the nomination.
Brandon Holtz, 23, voted for Donald Trump, saying the real estate mogul is what the Republican Party needs.
"I feel we need to be unified behind one guy and I really want to beat Hillary," he said.
Contrary to Holtz, Mindy Briggs, 29, voted for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas to keep Trump out of office.
"Simply put, I don't like Trump and I don't want him to win," she said.
Mark Wiley, 25, also voted for Cruz. He said the conservative Texas Republican is the most mature candidate running.
"Trump is crazy and I feel like Ted Cruz is more mature than Rubio and ready for the job," he said.
Ben Beugels, 35, voted for Marco Rubio today because of his electability.
"I voted for Marco Rubio because of his values and ability to win the general election," he said.
On the Democratic side, Asher Hallman, 25, voted for Hillary Clinton because she trusts Clinton largely because of her experience as Secretary of State to President Obama.
"Someone so closely related to the head of the country knows what's going on and I trust her experience," she said.
