On Monday, the nominations for Billboard’s annual American Music Awards were released, and it’s already shaping up to be a record year for Drake. With 13 nods, the “Hotline Bling” rapper has now toppled Michael Jackson’s 32-year standing record of 11 nominations, set in 1984. Drake is up for awards including Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist, and Favorite Album, for the inescapable Views. Despite his dominance in the nominations this year, however, a win would mark his first ever prize at this show.

Trailing Drake is none other than his collaborator Rihanna, who has seven nominations; the 6 God and the singer will face off in the Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, and Song of the Year (Soul/R&B) categories.

Adele, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, and The Chainsmokers are also in the running with multiple nominations. The AMAs air on Nov. 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles; online voting is now open, with Twitter already getting flooded with fan submissions.
