The grandson of the last Maharaja of the Princely state of Gwalior, Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia recently celebrated the grand tradition of the royal family, geared up in his royal attire on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.
Abiding by the age old tradition of visiting the royal palace in Gwalior to complete the weapon worship (shastra pooja) ceremony, the entire Scindia family made their presence felt in the city. Geared up in his royal attire, Jyotiraditya was also seen interacting with the commoners and paying heed to their troubles.
Post the worship at the palace, Jyotiraditya returned to the Jai Vilas Palace to deck up the palace for the upcoming festival. Several notable names from the political arena are reported to be joining the family at the palace.
