Drake Prepares To Takeover Europe With The Boy Meets World Tour
Looks like Drake will be taking his stage show across the pond very soon.
The rapper announced his next set of tour dates in the wee hours of Monday morning, an excursion that will take him all over Europe in early 2017. Titled The Boy Meets World tour, international fans can look forward to seeing Drake performing live in UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, and Denmark.
The 6 God will kick things off in Amsterdam on January 21, 2017 and criss-cross the continent before things wind down in Cologne on February 16. Tickets for the tour will go on sale beginning October 14, according to his tweet. Currently, additional performers haven’t been revealed but chances are Future, his most recent tour companion, won’t make the trek but that doesn’t mean Drake won’t find friends to help with surprise appearances along the way. The most likely one would be Skepta given Drizzy and his label’s liking of him.
News of the tour comes after Drake just finished wrapping up his Summer Sixteen series of shows across North America and Canada. Towards the end of the 50-show series, he was forced to postpone a small number of dates due to what he described as an ankle injury.
