Missiles Fired Near US Ship in Yemen

The U.S. military says two missiles were launched from Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen in the direction of a U.S. ship in the Persian Gulf.U.S. military officials say the missiles landed in the water Sunday, but did not make contact with the USS Mason.It was not immediately clear whether the U.S. destroyer was the intended target of the missiles.A military spokesman told Reuters news agency that the USS Mason detected the two inbound missiles within a 60-minute time frame in the Red Sea, off the coast of Yemen.
