Cooper asks about the “deplorables” comment—she reiterates that she apologized for it, but then talks about the violence at his rally, the “tone and tenor” he’s set, all of his insults and, well, just who he is.

Trump’s solution for “inner cities,” stop and frisk.

Trump: “We have a divided nation.” Then talks about all the cities with large populations of people of color that have so much crime, gee what does he mean by that. Says that she has “tremendous hatred in her heart.”

Trump: “We have a divided nation.” Then goes on to list off places (Charlotte, Baltimore) making clear that he thinks African American people are to blame for this division.

Donald Trump’s X-ray eyes can see into Hillary Clinton’s heart to find “tremendous hate.”

Donald, dude, I follow you on twitter. It’s not an affirmation.

Cooper, you’ve said that discipline is key. What about that tweetstorm you had after the first debate? He’s going nuts on her 3:00 in the a.m. ad in the 2008 campaign and Benghazi and he has so many followers. He’s not “unproud” of it. Not sure what he’s not unproud of, but whatever.

Trump just denied he sent out tweet about a sex tape. It was covered extensively. Extensively, to put it mildly.

Raddatz doing her damnedest with Trump. Both moderators are doing much better than you could expect.

Audience question about SCOTUS: Hillary lays out her expectations for a nominee, talks about the experience she would look for in a nominee. Wants to see Citizens United overturned. Wants to have Voting Rights Act restored. Wants Roe v Wade and marriage equality upheld. “I want a Supreme Court that doesn’t always side with corporate interests.” That’s kind of an inside baseball thing, but all the progressive court watcher are cheering that one, because the Roberts Court has been the Chamber of Commerce court.

Nice answer here on Scotus, reminding people the extremes that Trump’s promised on reversing Roe and marriage equality.

It would make sense, given how Trump just callously said “I disagree with” Pence on Syria. It would make sense for Pence to say “fuck you and fuck it”.

Trump. I’ll look for another Scalia. And constitution. And 2nd Amendment. And he’s off on how great he’s doing with the fundraising. Why isn’t she funding her own campaign? Special interests. Hillary comes back with the gun safety measures she supports, since we’re talking SCOTUS.

Audience question on energy—how to keep it sustainable and at the same time save jobs in energy. Trump says EPA is killing energy. SNIFF. Hillary Clinton wants to put all the miners out of business and we have clean coal. Which isn’t a thing, but what of what Trump says is a thing?

Monday, Oct 10, 2016 · 2:31:37 AM +00:00 · Joan McCarter

Now he’s off on China dumping steel. Which, wha??? Oh, okay, back to the EPA putting energy out of business.
