Trump threatens to tap special prosecutor for Clinton if he wins
Donald Trump on Sunday pledged to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton should he win the presidential election.
"If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation," Trump told Clinton at the second presidential debate, pointing to her email practices at the State Department as cause for further investigation.
"People have been, their lives have been destroyed doing one fifth of what you've done," he said. "You ought to be ashamed of yourself."
"Everything he said is absolutely false but I'm not surprised," Clinton said, going on to say that it was a good thing that "someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country."
"Because you'd be in jail," Trump shot back.
