Sex crimes, especially committed by adults on young children, have always been viewed very harshly. In order to protect minors against sexual assault, laws have thus been passed to severely punish any offenders.
However, minors themselves have to be aware of the rights they hold. Most importantly, they need to know that they too, can be convicted of statutory rape if they engage in sexual acts with another minor.
Created by The Law Offices of Keren Goldenberg, this infographic informs young people about what constitutes a sex crime.
