Located in New York City’s Meatpacking District, Allouche Gallery has commenced its first solo exhibition with the help of iconic American contemporary artist Ron English.

Titled Ron English / Guernica, the exhibition took two years to complete and draws heavy influence from Pablo Picasso’s legendary Guernica 1937 oil painting, which is regarded as one of the most influential anti-war paintings in history. Using the Guernica template, Ron English perpetuates powerful messages about the nature of creation and destruction through the use of highly recognizable imagery and icons, including the likes of The Simpsons, Peanuts, and Mickey Mouse.

Ron English / Guernica will be open to the public from September 22 until October 19.
