Donald Trump Wins Arkansas, Ted Cruz Takes Second

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump won Arkansas on Super Tuesday, a state where he was neck and neck in the polls with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). KATV and the Associated Press declared Trump the winner at roughly 35 percent of the vote. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took second place with 28 percent, while Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) rounded out third place with 25 percent. Fox News projected Hillary Clinton was the clear winner in Arkansas over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on the Democrat side just after the polls closed on Tuesday evening. Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said that if Trump were to be the nominee, he would support him. Gov. Hutchinson says he will support the nominee-including Trump.
