Fans of the wizarding world can now rejoice, J.K. Rowling has just announced that the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be a trilogy.

In a casual reply to a fan on Monday, Rowling wrote on Twitter that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will only be a play in London, while the Fantastic Beasts will be a three part movie.

With this great news, fans are expressing their excitement on Twitter, with some guessing that the recently released information on Pottermore, about the various wizarding schools around the world could be clues to where Scamander will visit in the upcoming films.

The first movie of the trilogy will hit theaters on 18 November 2016.
