Singapore's longest-running club to export dance music festival ZoukOut to Boracay
SINGAPORE — After more than 20 years in operation, Singapore's longest-running club Zouk is set to go global with the region's biggest outdoor dance music festival, ZoukOut. Its first overseas stop will be a preview show in April in Boracay, Philippines.
The annual music festival has been running for 15 years, and is part of the club's efforts to expand internationally. The club was acquired by Genting Hong Kong last year and will be moving out of the iconic Jiak Kim Street to a new home at Clarke Quay mid-year.
"ZoukOut Boracay is the first step in our overall strategy in growing the brand regionally and internationally," Sofie Chandra, head of marketing and events, told Mashable.
