Flight diverted after passenger makes threats onboard
A passenger making threats caused a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles to divert to Albuquerque on Christmas Day.
Flight 81 landed at the Albuquerque International Sunport just after 6 p.m., where authorities met the plane and the man was arrested. The man was not charged, but he was not allowed to get back on the plane.
Daniel Jiron, a spokesman for the airport, said he didn't know the nature of the incident that made the pilot feel he had to land the plane.
However, other passengers on board tweeted that it was because the passenger had been making threats.
